Dielectric Bonding Technology (DBT): This ground breaking development pioneered the reduction of PVF burden in backsheets by requiring only one layer of Tedlar® film. Incorporating EVA into PV backsheets has been proven to improve dielectric properties and adhesion to the encapsulant. This cost effective design allows for increased panel power through light reflection, can be custom colored and has excellent adhesion-to-panel encapsulant. Additionally dielectric performance can be easily controlled via thickness, such that 1,000 VDC performances can be easily accommodated with the TPE HD design.
